Happy Birthday, Leon!

So here is the thing. I don't know if I am notorious for using the simplest of tools for doing relatively intensive things, but I always find myself using box wrenches to take things apart. Now.. I know it would take me less time and be a lot easier on me if I used the appropriate tools, but I always challange myself in this way.

I dunno what it is..

Any ways.. for part of Leon's birthday present I disassembled the block I am giving him for his turbo build. He is on his way up as I type. In fact, just called me.

so.................................................... girdle out! I'm so damn strong. It took a couple tugs to get it
out but it was pretty cake. Speaking of caek, Candy has a craft fair on Saturday. It's in Worcester, MA. It happens to be another alternative craft fair. If you have the chance, you should come.
The craft fair should be much fun. I imagine there will be more people showing up to this one. The location is a bit better, from what I understand.

Oh hey. I'm a shitston. You may confuse me with something that is worthy of being in a motor
but you'd be wrong!

So, hopefully we can take this thing off the stand and I can clear up the space for my big boy build! I'm going to start that as soon as I get back from Florida. I still have a lot of reading to do w
ith regards to tuning and engine management. I also have to find a good fuel delivery set up. I have my pump so far. That's it. I'm looking at the AMS kit they have for somewhere around $500 I think.

Matt is going to help me with the assembly and what not. He has been a Nissan Mechanic for a few years, and has rebuilt many an SR20. I'm hoping this goes well.

I still must have the head work done! I've been stalling big time on that. I have the two cars to build though.

Speaking of which.. I have been able to source an s14 tranny, drive shaft, and harness for the vert! I'm pumped. Pete always has good stuff for sale. I think he is selling like 2 240s right now and his miata...and his rhd shell...and his rb20..and I just bought his KA set up for verta
licious. Good times

Well.. here it is. This is where this block sits for now. I gotta wait for Leon to get here. All the bolts, rods, etcetera are marked and placed appropriately in order, just in case he asks. I have meticulously arranged the entire mass of block internals in a box on my shed floor. This shit is ready to GTFO of my place already. And I can't wait to make the room! Hopefully Leon will find it in him to accept this part of his birthday gift and bring it home.

I guess we will know soon.
Do work son.
